Who do you want to be when you grow up?

Do you ever feel like who you hope to become someday is far away - almost out of your reach?
Perhaps you feel so unhappy with your current self that the idea of change feels hard to imagine.
And maybe you have some idea of who you want to be, but it feels hard to picture.
For example:
- You might know you want to leave or transform your current relationship, but you’ve never done that before.
- Or you know that certain choices you keep making (like drinking to cope, or putting up with toxic people) make you miserable, but you don’t know how to start to do things differently.
- Or you know that where you live just isn’t nurturing you in the ways you need, but you don’t know where to go.
The good news: you are already that person!
The compass to guide you to your new life is already inside of you. You just have to start listening.
Be patient with yourself and trust that you can (AND WILL) make these changes!
Use today's affirmation and journal prompts to help you get there!
Affirmation:

Journal Prompts:
- Write down any limiting beliefs or self-doubt you may have about your ability to change and grow.
- Challenge these beliefs and write out positive reframes for each one.
- Think about or meditate on the idea of self-support.
- In what ways do you support yourself when learning new things?
- What self-care practices help you stay motivated and resilient?
October is a month where some people practice “sober October” - taking the month off of alcohol or other distractions to sort of reset their lives. I myself will be practicing “soberish October” - I’m not entirely swearing off alcohol, but I want to be a little more intentional. Mostly, I plan to swap out some of my evening glasses of wine to see if I can improve my sleep. You’ll see that we’ve created some challenges and a Soberish October challenge calendar on Instagram for those of you who want to join in the fun.
I have launched a Mocktail series for fall on Instagram to give us all better choices for alcohol alternatives that feel festive and seasonal!
