28 Ways to Flourish This February

February is a month of growth, connection, and love—both for others and ourselves. With longer days on the horizon, this month offers a chance to plant seeds of self-care and mindfulness. 

Join us for 28 days of of healthy habits to transform your life through small steps. You can follow the calendar we've created for you or mix and match as you choose. 

Week 1: February 2–8 

This week we focus on setting the tone for the rest of the month, with an emphasis on connection with ourselves and others.

Theme: 

Affirmation: I follow my heart to find my way.

2. Sunday: Set Your Intentions for February. Spend time journaling about what you want February to feel like and what you want to accomplish.

3. Monday: Declutter your mind. Write down lingering worries or unfinished tasks and plan how you’ll address them. Let go of mental clutter to make space for clarity and creativity this month.

4. Tuesday: Try a grounding practice. Stand barefoot in nature (or indoors on a soft surface) and take a few deep breaths. Visualize yourself growing roots that provide stability for the month ahead. Imagine drawing feelings of love and connection up through those roots. 

5. Wednesday: Reach Out. Connect with someone you’ve been thinking about. Send them a kind message, give them a call, or meet for coffee.

6. Thursday: Create a Relationship Vision Board. Cut out images, words, or quotes that represent the connections you want to grow, whether it’s with friends, family, or yourself.

7. Friday: Reflect on Forgiveness. Write about someone you want to forgive or an area where you need to forgive yourself.

8. Saturday: Host a Screen-Free Gathering. Invite loved ones for an evening of spaghetti, games, conversation, or shared hobbies.

Week 2: February 9–15

This week, we hone in on the relationships that matter.

9. Sunday: Be Present in Your Relationships. Write down three ways you can be more present in your relationships. Commit to practicing one today.

10. Monday: Declutter Your Digital Life. Unsubscribe from emails, delete unused apps, and organize your device for clarity.

11. Tuesday: Celebrate Safer Internet Day. Set strong passwords, limit social media, and focus on creating a healthier digital space.

12. Wednesday: Reflect on Your Social Connections. Journal about what you value most in your relationships and how you can nurture them. Ask yourself if it is easier for you to give or receive love? Download our free Journal for more prompts!

13. Thursday: Practice Active Listening. In your next conversation, focus entirely on the other person—no interruptions, no multitasking.

14. Friday: Celebrate Self-Love. Make Valentine’s Day about cherishing yourself. Write a love letter telling yourself exactly what you need to hear. Highlight the qualities you admire most, the challenges you’ve overcome, and the dreams you’re pursuing. Then treat yourself to an activity that brings you joy - whether it’s a favorite meal, a relaxing bath, or a solo outing.

15. Saturday: Cook a Nourishing Meal for Someone You Love. Share the process and enjoy the experience together. Talk about your relationship and how it has grown and evolved over time. 

Week 3:  February 16–22

At the mid-way point of the month, we give generously.

Theme: Nurturing Compassion (Random Acts of Kindness Week)

Affirmation: The more I love myself, the more radiant and connected I become.

16. Sunday: Start Random Acts of Kindness Week. Surprise someone with a thoughtful gesture. Even small gestures—like a kind word or letting someone ahead in line—can have a big impact.

17. Monday: Practice Self-Affirmations. Kindness to yourself is essential. Take three minutes to remind yourself that you are deserving of love from others and self-love. Need ideas for affirmations? Scroll through our Instagram for weekly suggestions. Practice being intentionally kind to yourself throughout the week. 

18. Tuesday: Write a Thank-You Note. Think of someone who has positively impacted your life and let them know that you appreciate them. This could also be a text or phone call.

19. Wednesday: Donate to a Local Nonprofit or Charity. Support a cause that aligns with your values. If you can’t donate money, consider your time, unused items, or even a simple offer to help a neighbor.

20. Thursday: Give Someone a Genuine Compliment. Be specific and heartfelt—watch how it brightens their day.

21. Friday: Focus on Your Inner Circle. Surprise someone close to you with a thoughtful action, like preparing their favorite meal or taking over a task they’ve been dreading. 

22. Saturday: Take a Mindful Walk. Focus on the sights, sounds, and smells around you to connect with the present moment and as a generous gift to yourself.

Week 4: February 23–29

Find a way to continue to build meaningful relationships as we wrap up the month.

 Theme: Manifest Healthy Relationships

Affirmation: I cultivate deep, healthy relationships in my life.

23. Sunday: Plant a Seed for Growth. Literally or figuratively! I love the symbolism of growing seeds. Plant a seed or bulb as a symbol of your personal growth journey, or start a creative project that you can develop over time. Fun fact: my partner and I plant heirloom tomato seeds together every Valentine's Day!

24. Monday: Practice Self-Compassion. Write a letter to yourself as if you were speaking to a close friend. You can thank your present or your future self for the work you have put in to be where you are now, or where you hope to be. 

25. Tuesday: Create a List of Habits that Support Your Growth. What has helped you flourish? What would you like to try? 

26. Wednesday: Mix a Mocktail. Try a new recipe with some favorite flavors. Be sure to focus on the presentation with a nice glass and special garnishes. Try a recipe we've shared on Instagram!  (Shh... don't tell anyone, but it's my birthday today!)

27. Thursday: Reflect on your February journey. Journal about how you’ve grown. Where would you like to continue growing? How can you be more intentional when it comes to your investment in relationships?

28. Friday: Share Your Progress. Reach out to someone you trust and get together to tell them about your February wins.
